How To Benchmark your System |

To make sure that we can compare the results, it is important you read this first.
Cinebench , PovRay
Cinebench 2003, 9.5 and 10: - Download the official 'Cinebench 2003', 'Cinebench 9.5' or 'Cinebench 10' from cinebench.com .
- Unzip the downloaded ZIP-File into a Directory.
- Read the Readme_*.pdf.
- Run all Benchmarks
- Save your Result with the "-> To Database" Button
- For 2003 and 9.5 send the Textfile to

Povray-Benchmark: ChessMark, NewMark, NewMark37 Download the official POVRAY-Version (compiled or Source) from POVRAY-Homepage or an optimized Version. - Install the binary or compile the Source on your System.
On Windows Systems - ChessMark
- Start POVRAY and open the Examplefile [povray-Directory]\scenes\advanced\chess2.pov .
- Pess ALT-C to open the "Render Settings"-Window .
- Enter the Parameters ( -d -q9 +w800 +h600 +b1000 +r3 +a0.300 +ft ) into the "Command Line Options"-Field and press the "Render"-Button.
- NewMark (Only POVRAY 3.5 and 3.6)
- Start POVRAY and run the Benchmark at Menu "Render -> Run Benchmark" .
On Unix Systems
- ChessMark
- Start POVRAY this way: povray -d -q9 +w800 +h600 +b1000 +r3 +a0.300 +ft -i[povray-Directory]/scenes/advanced/chess2.pov -L[povray-Directory]/include
- NewMark (Only POVRAY 3.5 and 3.6)
- Start POVRAY this way: povray benchmark.ini -i[povray-Verzeichniss]/scenes/advanced/benchmark.pov
On Apple System - ChessMark
- Start POVRAY and open the Examplefile [povray-Directory]\scenes\advanced\chess2.pov .
- Enter the Parameters ( -d -q9 +w800 +h600 +b1000 +r3 +a0.300 +ft ) into the Fields at "Edit -> Render Settings" and press the "Render"-Button.
- NewMark
- Start POVRAY and run the Benchmark at Menu "Render -> Run Benchmark" .
